About the RoleWe are currently seeking Trainer Assessors to join the WA Asset Projects Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for safety-focused Trainer Assessors, who demonstrate a proactive approach to mentoring employees.
In this role you will be required to:
Drive business improvement through the measurement of BHP's performance.Design and deliver training plans, train and assess operators, and improve training programs to maintain safety, compliance, and performance during mining operations.Support the management of vendor/customer selection, contracts, and performance to maximize operational and financial outcomes and mitigate BHP's exposure to risk.Translate corporate objectives into actionable plans, communicating, managing, and analyzing the implementation of those plans, and reporting back on their progress to facilitate the delivery of our strategy.Source information, plan, and conduct analyses to support evidence-based decision making.Design and implement governance/assurance practices and Management of Change procedures to control value outcomes across BHP.About YouWe have a strong focus on finding individuals with the right values, leadership capability, collaboration, and communication skills.
In addition to demonstrated ability to consolidate and analyze information, you will have the skills and knowledge to provide critical thinking and a solution-focused attitude.
As the successful candidate, ideally you will hold one of the following minimum level nationally recognized skill set or certification in assessing:
Enterprise Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00015)Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00011 or TAESS00019)Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (TAE40110, TAE40116 or TAE40122)Diploma of Vocational Education and TrainingAs the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
Strong communication and relationship management skillsPrior exposure in open cut mining (desirable, but not essential)Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvementMinimum C Class Driver's license unrestricted is essentialThe role is based at Mining Area C on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, Day shift only.
