Are you experienced in delivering Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy skills to those requiring support within the community? Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact through education and have the skills to empower individuals in their career journeys? Join our team as a Trainer and Assessor: SEE, where you will empower community members, existing workers, and unemployed individuals by supporting them to upskill, reskill, secure, and maintain employment, or progress to further education or training. You will motivate and guide Participants through high-quality training in language, literacy, numeracy, digital literacy, and competency-based skills, while also offering support in employment-related areas. All while ensuring strict adherence to Government contractual requirements and maintaining compliance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate: Exceptional training and assessment skills, capable of employing varied teaching strategies and embedding digital literacy into all training sessions.Person-centered and empathetic approach, adept at interpersonal communication, social interaction, and active listening.Flexible attitude towards work hours and arrangements, fostering a non-judgmental and positive approach to diverse stakeholders.Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across teams, while demonstrating initiative, creativity, and a commitment to excellence.Strong commitment to the transformative role of training in empowering individuals for societal participation and employment upskilling.Proficiency in both written and verbal communication, with experience in training and assessing through online platforms and Learner Management Systems.Outstanding organisational skills, with a focus on achieving outcomes, maintaining professional standards, and consistently delivering high-quality, culturally competent services with integrity. What you will bring: TAE40110 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (including units TAELLN411 and TAESS502) or higher;A specialist adult Language Literacy and Numeracy qualification, TESOL qualification, TAESS00009 Address Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice, or a higher qualification in adult education or education, such as TAE80113 Graduate Diploma of Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy Practice, Bachelor of Education, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Education, or higher; andDemonstrated expertise in delivery and assessment of foundation skills, using the ACSF or equivalent.
