Mine Training Australia and The Pivot Institute is an award-winning training provider (Telstra Best of Business Finalist and Resources Training Council Most Outstanding Training Provider 2022) delivering quality training and assessment for the mining industry across Australia. Our head office is located in Osborne Park with a range of offices, training rooms and well-resourced training facilities (including a simulated underground mine). Due to continuing expansion, we are looking for a Trainer and Assessor (Mining) who is looking to share their knowledge and skills across a range of areas related to mining and WHS. This role represents an incredible opportunity for a Perth based role with some travel to interesting sites across WA.
We're looking for a passionate mine trainer/assessor who can share their knowledge of mining with both new and experienced individuals, values quality in training and assessment, and would add to our great team culture here at Pivot/Mine Training Australia.

Areas of training can include:
Working safely in a mining environment Work safely at heights Confined space entry Mobile plant (based on experience) Workplace health and safety units Isolations and tagging (and more…) Your energy and enthusiasm for training together with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills will make you an ideal candidate for this position.
This position may be perfect for you if you have:
Proven ability to deliver quality training and assessment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Want to work in a fantastic environment with a sensational team. Skills and experience required. Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent or currently completing the Qualification. Relevant industry experience and qualifications in mining and workplace health and safety training Hold relevant units related to mining with at least four years' experience in a mining environment.
