Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced person for the Trainer/Assessor/Lecturer position to join our team and deliver the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design course. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, a commitment to teaching excellence, and a desire to inspire and mentor students.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions for the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design course.Develop and update course materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.Provide academic support and guidance to students, including mentoring and advising.Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure course content is relevant and up-to-date.Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and other college activities.Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field of Construction (Master's degree preferred).TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment degree or willingness to obtain after employment.At least 3-5 years of industry experience in construction or a related area.Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable but not necessary.Strong communication and presentation skills.Ability to inspire and motivate students.Commitment to continuous professional development.What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.Job Type: Part-time
