Trainer and Assessor Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Trainer and Assessor to contribute to Council's success.
Dynamic work environment, working across the region Work with varied and diverse stakeholders Autonomy to create and design training programs About the Role The purpose of this position is to develop, coordinate and deliver competency-based training and conduct practical assessments to verify competency of employees using plant and equipment. This role will spend a significant amount of time in the field and will play an important role in supporting the development of our people and enabling safe, effective and compliant operations.
You will bring: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Bachelor of Education. Accredited and competent in operating a wide range of yellow plant and equipment. Demonstrated experience conducting competency assessments and managing high-volume training and assessment schedules. Previous experience with the development, design, and delivery of training programs. Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, including experience in coaching and reporting. Proven positive track record engaging with stakeholders to set goals, optimise productivity and achieve results. Comprehensive knowledge of and experience interpreting and applying legislation and workplace policies. Proficient and experienced in using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems. Current Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card). Why work for GRC?
