We are reliable and cost effective, working hard to achieve successful outcomes for our clients by working with them in ways that create and deliver value.Golding are currently seeking a highly motivated Trainer and Assessor at the Phosphate Hill Mine located near Mt Isa in central west Queensland. This role will operate on a 5/2 roster, Fly in from Townsville Monday, out Thursday and work from home on Friday. Camp accommodation will be provided during the working week.About the role: As a Trainer & Assessor, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive training and assessment across our mining operations team. You will be responsible for ensuring all training activities are in compliance with relevant QLD legislation and company policies.Responsibilities: Conducting site inductions as needed;Ensuring compliance with all training and assessment activities;Maintaining accurate training records to ensure compliance;Developing retraining plans for individuals needing further support;Demonstrating meticulous attention to detail in documentation;Promptly forwarding assessment documentation to the Safety team;Implementing various training programs within your area of expertise to meet safety and quality standards;Assisting trainees in understanding Operating Procedures for relevant plant equipment;Conducting training activities and assessments for operators when required;Taking responsibility for trainees and their actions during training sessions. About you: Prior experience operating heavy mobile equipment in a mining environment (Excavator, Dozer, Grader, Loader, Rigid Trucks & Water Cart);Specific experience operating Caterpillar and Hitachi mining plant is advantageous;Essential TAE Certificate IV in Training & Assessing preferably TAE 40116 Cert 4 or above;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Strong commitment to continuous self-improvement;Willingness to operate machinery as needed for hot seating.
