Traineeship - Cert Iii Driving Operations

Under expert guidance from your supervisors, gain the knowledge required to become proficient in Driver Operations with our valued family-owned logistics client in Launceston.
The role will involve mainly courier / delivery driver duties and a small amount of warehousing.
What can you gain from completing a traineeship through Work & Training?
You would be employed by Work & Training and hosted to our client for the duration of the traineeship.
Full time hours plus full entitlements including four weeks of annual leave per year.
You would receive professional guidance from your immediate supervisors, as well as mentoring and support from a Work & Training consultant.
The theory side of your qualification would be conducted one-on-one in the workplace, with expert tuition, by a registered trainer.
At the completion of your traineeship you would receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in Driver Operations.
Learning on the job: Expect to gain confident customer service skills, through interaction with stakeholders both over the phone and face to face, including clients, suppliers and contractors.
Become adept in time management, priorities, and scheduling of deliveries, to meet the needs of the customers and the business.
Gain skills in the use of data management, booking systems and other software.
Adhere to strict policies and guidelines, especially in regard to Work Health & Safety requirements.

Essential: Manual Drivers licence.
