Trainee Utility Surveyor

DARA Recruitment Solutions Ltd are currently working with a well-known surveying company who are looking to recruit a full-time Trainee Utility Surveyor for their operations covering East Midlands. You will be covering Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham, Leicester etc. Your role will include the following: Work on site with experienced surveyors, conducting underground utilities, CCTV and drainage surveys using innovative technology and processing data in the office. Undertake on-the-job training and earn whilst you learn. Follow Survey Solutions health and safety policies and procedures and promote a high standard of health, safety and welfare in the workplace and to members of the public while onsite. Maintain survey instruments to a high working standard and ensure they are fit for purpose. Undertake tasks within the office environment to assist with project completion e.g. processing surveying data, instrument checks, organising and loading equipment and data input. The right candidate will: Have a full UK driving licence with access to their own vehicle. Have a keen interest in outdoor activities or previous experience working outside. Be over 18 years of age due to employment law regulations. Have good practical and problem-solving skills. Be able to work successfully as part of a team. Have the right to work in the UK. Possess good communication skills. Job type: Full time - Temp to Perm Shift times: Monday to Friday; 8AM - 5:30PM
