WHY TYRES?Tire management and maintenance is a large part of a mining operation; usually one of the top 3 expenditures to a mine site, therefore it is closely scrutinised by our clients. Our qualified tyre technicians provide a critical operational role in undertaking planned and reactive tyre changes, maintenance and routine inspections. Assessing wheel components to ensure tyres remain in service on a range of mobile mining equipment on some of the largest machines in the world is essential. This opportunity will allow you to become a fully qualified OTR (off the road) Tyre Fitter, a position that offers responsibility, development, and diversity of work.
THE ROLEAs a Trainee, your program starts with a fully paid, industry-leading, theory-based course conducted in one of our in-house training facilities. This includes our tailored mine site readiness program in either Perth WA or Hunter Valley NSW for the initial 4 weeks. After completion, you will be guaranteed a role at one of our many mine sites nationally where you will continue your on-the-job training. The rosters vary, though generally are family friendly. You will receive guaranteed generous wage increases at each stage of training milestones and development.

Hold a valid driving licence (minimum open C class manual licence)Hold a Worksafe (HRWL) Forklift TicketA strong safety and procedural focusMechanical aptitude would be advantageousExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA team playerAbility to always represent our company professionallyAbility to pass pre-employment medical, Drug and Alcohol Screening and a current police checkNo experience in Tyre Fitting is necessary. We are seeking highly motivated applicants with a "can do" attitude, with the desire to learn and grow within our industry.

We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and at the end of your training, you will hold a nationally recognised certificate in Tyre Servicing Technology which will enable you to work on any tyre, including all earthmoving tyres, anywhere in the world.
