We currently have the opportunity for aspiring Trainee Supervisors to join our construction teams. As a Trainee Supervisor, you will be guided and trained to enable you to become a successful supervisor and part of one of the most successful Building Groups in W.A. As a Trainee Site Supervisor with Summit Homes Group, you will oversee construction sites, ensuring high standards of productivity, quality control, and customer satisfaction. Working closely with experienced supervisors and the leadership team, you will play a key role in recruiting, managing, and motivating tradespeople, while fostering their ongoing development. This role involves planning and allocating resources to meet monthly targets, with exposure to a diverse range of building methods and construction styles. With access to continuous training in advanced building methods and direct collaboration with our subsidiaries, you'll help maintain our leadership in framing techniques within a vertically integrated organisation.
About you The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, this may be a trade background or scheduler, draftsperson or estimator who is looking to further their career.
A passion for residential construction is essential as is a reliable can-do attitude. The role requires excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, along with a focus on customer service. Candidates should display a professional work ethic, be proactive, and show initiative, with a willingness to go the extra mile. The ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines will ensure success in this role.
A current C Class licence is essential, whilst trade qualifications and/or a Diploma of Building and Construction would be highly regarded.
