About the Division / Team Our Operations team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains.
With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items such as groceries, electrical goods and other items for both import and export markets.
The Operations teams work within several complex and challenging environments, including some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable service delivery outcomes for its customers, stakeholders and the community.

There are a variety of different locations throughout this region to call home, all of which are a relatively short commute to the centralised Provisioning Centre in Muswellbrook.

To ensure success in this position, applicants will be able to demonstrate: A deep commitment to safety with a proactive attitude to challenge and improve existing practices.
Possession of a valid electrical licence.
Willingness to pursue and complete a Cert IV in Rail Signalling.
Proven ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member, ensuring effective contributions to the group's success.
Demonstrated experience in fault identification, maintenance, and proficient repair skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills, complemented by adeptness with computer systems.
A readiness to travel within the Hunter Valley region and an eagerness to accommodate overtime as required by ARTC.
Possession of a Class C driver's license.
