About the role Working with Altrad as a Scaffold Trainee at Ichthys LNG offers the opportunity to be a part of one of the world's leading energy companies, contributing to the success of one of the largest and most innovative LNG projects globally.

Permanent, full-time position at the Ichthys LNG project in Darwin, NT. Gain hands-on training and upskill with the opportunity to obtain an Advanced Level Scaffolding qualification and additional high-risk work accreditations. An excellent opportunity for local Darwin residents looking to enter the Oil & Gas industry. Competitive hourly rate of $39.00-$40.00 plus penalties, with increase after completing 50% of the training program. Full-time role with a 5:2 roster, working 10.5-hour shifts per day, starting in March 2025. About you We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team.

Physically capable of working in a demanding, fast-paced environment, with the strength, stamina, and ability to work at heights. A proactive, 'can-do' attitude, willing to take on new challenges and contribute positively to the team's success. Committed to long-term career growth, with a focus on building a lasting career in the industry and personal development. Previous work experience showing a strong work ethic, with or without prior experience in the construction or scaffolding industry. Ability to pass a project-specific pre-employment medical assessment, including a drug and alcohol screen.
