Petstock NSW/ACT are recruiting for numerous Trainee-Groomer positions with all on-the-job training provided from bathing to styling.
Must have availability 7 days per week, willingness to travel and ability to work well in a team environment.
Please note this position commences on a casual basis with view to permanent part/full time in the future.

A day in the life… Provide outstanding grooming services in storeAssist the Senior Groomer with day to day grooming tasksBath and brush dog prior to groomAssist store shop floor team when requiredAssist with coordinating bookingsEnsure the appropriate handling and safe transfer of animals within the storeWork with the team to achieve and exceed sales targetsStrong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your teamWhat We Need...A passion for animals and providing the best customer serviceConfident being around animals as you will be exposed to dogs with lots of different personalitiesYou're motivated to take that next step in your career & willing to put in the hard yards to become the best Groomer you can beA relevant qualification is preferred but not essential - as long as you bring the willingness & 'Can Do' attitude!Experience in a similar environmentOur dog customers come in all shapes, sizes & weight so you will need to be physically fit and have an understanding of dog behaviors to ensure all interactions are safe for you and your customers!Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and your team-matesPhysically fit, with ability to lift products up to 20kgsFlexibility and ability to work weekends and public holidaysIn this role, you will be someone who provides more expertise, exceptional customer service, more value to the customer and take more care of our pet customers and their family....if this sounds like you, apply online today.
