Trainee Payroll Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic and enthusiastic Trainee Payroll Administrator to join the Payroll team.

The objective of the successful candidate, once fully trained, will be the responsibility of ensuring that all transactions relating to payroll are input in a timely, accurate manner and the Payroll process from start to finish.

The role responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Onboarding of new hiresInputting time sheetsReviewing absencePreparation of average holiday pay No previous Payroll experience is required; however, we are on the lookout for ambitious, confident, and highly motivated individuals who are looking to start their career with Peterson.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft systems and an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is also required.
A basic understanding of Payroll and Finance would be an advantage but not a requirement as on-the-job training will be given.
This role would suit a school leaver or someone with limited experience.

The successful candidate will be offered the opportunity to begin formal payroll training and gain a qualification along with in-house training.
