Trainee Hose Builder

Duties and tasks: Operation of electric lathe to manufacture hose.
Assist in Operation of forklift to move equipment and stock/load autoclave.
Cut and trim materials to hose requirements.
Ensure quality control of hoses and other works.
Convert drawings, sketches, and written instructions to fabricate steel and rubber components as required.
Operate machines including drill press, lathes, welders, and grinders to shape and form steel and rubber.
Maintain clean and tidy workshop.
Job requirements: Competent to operate electric autoclave.
(Training provided on the job) Forklift license desirable.
Good communication skills.
Able to work within a small team environment.
Good Mathematical skills to calculate figures required in building.
Ability to read and comprehend job cards, drawings and instructions.
Ability to problem solve when required.
