Minimising plant and equipment downtime by delivering swift and effective solutions.Modifying and upgrading existing equipment to improve performance and efficiency.Supporting and managing project design and installations as required.Providing a rapid response to breakdowns to maintain operational continuity.Carrying out planned maintenance schedules, ensuring all tasks are logged and completed as per plan.Improving maintenance practices by reviewing and refining the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme.Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently.Promoting and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees, championing health and safety best practices.Proactively identifying and addressing faulty processes, implementing long-term solutions to enhance reliability.Collaborating with the production team to prioritise maintenance activities effectively.What you'll need to apply for the trainee fitter/welder: Experience in a manufacturing environment.Basic fitting and welding skills, qualifications not needed.The trainee fitter/welder package: Competitive salary, which will increase over time.
