About the role: The Dental Assistant is an important role contributing to the Clarity Dental operations and team. Working predominantly in a clinical role, the Dental Assistant is required to assist at chairside as well as assist with front office reception administrative duties.
The role requires delivery of exceptional patient care at every stage of the patient journey, with this care leading to development of long-term patient relationships that underpin business growth.
Key duties and responsibilities: Providing chairside assistance to the practitioner Performing clinical duties to support the dentist in delivery of clinical care to patients Setting up procedures and changing over rooms Assisting with general day-to-day administrative operations of the practice Improving and maintaining comfort of the patient Contributing to a safe, pleasant, and harmonious environment for dentists, patients, and the Clarity Dental team Answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, handling patient accounts and payment plans, maintaining patient records, and coordinating patient flow About you: Ability to be responsive in completion of daily tasks, work with interruptions, and manage competing priorities Work autonomously and demonstrate initiative Capability to set and meet deadlines Possess a sound knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and the ability to write legibly and work with numbers Ability to maintain a clear delineation between personal and professional life Continuous capability to present a respectable appearance at work Ability to adhere to and practice doctor-patient confidentiality Possess physical stamina and mental resilience to perform long hours of standing, walking, bending, and sitting Possess good manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination Be confident, assertive, and respectful Demonstrated ability of high levels of interpersonal communication and teamwork We require for this role: Working with children check Triple Vaccinated against Covid19 2 references available at interview Someone committed to pursuing a career as a dental assistant long term. #J-18808-Ljbffr
