With a growing population and major events such as the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic games on the horizon, the City is faced with endless opportunities.In the role of Trainee Data Services Officer, you will form part of a team that provides GIS analysis, business solutions, and guidance to our organisation.
This is a unique role that will help with databases and business improvements to ensure that we deliver a high-quality service across the City of Gold Coast.Help create and validate documentation associated with as-constructed data that helps build our City.Assist with asset data integrity issues and support asset data improvements and general administration services.Extract asset data as requested.Build productive work partnerships with people across the City.Develop skills to become a Geographic Information System (GIS) specialist.What are we looking for from you The City is committed to developing skilled trainees and apprentices into future City leaders who:Team players who positively contribute and embrace change.Highly motivated and proactive problem solvers who can manage their time effectively.A passionate self-starter eager to learn about data.A detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.Good communicators with basic language, literacy, and numeracy skills with the ability to effectively communicate, understand, and follow instructions.Successful completion of Year 12.Applicants must have full working rights in Australia for the duration of the qualification and be able to work full-time.Here's how to applySubmit your resume and a cover letter.
