Trails OfficerSustainability OfficerGrants OfficerEach position is: Permanent part-time position (38 hours per fortnight)Gross Salary range: up to $75,000 per annum pro rata dependent upon skills and experienceUp to 16.5% superannuationIf you possess the skills for more than one of these roles, you can combine them to create a full-time position.

Trails Officer The Shire of Nannup is seeking an experienced and motivated Trails Officer to join our team, to project manage all aspects of our trails.
About the Role: Project manage all aspects of the trails as described in the Trail Town Project Stage Three, under the supervision of the Economic and Community Development Coordinator and the Chief Executive Officer.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement project plans, design briefs, and tender documentation in line with the Shire's procurement policy.Prepare business cases to support funding applications.Prepare and manage project approvals, addressing relevant legislation, Aboriginal heritage, and environmental considerations.Coordinate work between internal departments and external contractors, adhering to Shire policies.Estimate costs, plan procurement, and manage materials supply and project completion.Develop guidelines and instructions for Shire staff use.Prepare work programs, reports, and manage project scope, quality, budgets, and procurement.Administer contracts and manage contractors to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.Supervise contractors, approve variations, manage payments, and ensure timely project completion.Conduct performance evaluations and oversee project closure tasks.What we are looking for: To be successful in this role you will need:
Extensive experience in preparing project documentation, including plans, design briefs, tenders, reports, and obtaining necessary approvals.Proven ability to deliver projects by interpreting plans, troubleshooting, and supervising construction to meet design and quality standards.Strong contract management skills, including tender preparation, financial control, contractor supervision, and project closure.Experience working in partnership roles within outdoor/adventure tourism or mountain bike trails sectors.Knowledge of recreational trail planning and construction, adhering to WA Mountain Bike and Hiking Guidelines.Skilled in managing projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget requirements.Proficient in stakeholder consultation and collaboration with community groups, government agencies, and other organisations.Strong communication skills, including report writing, presentations, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Why Join Us: Be part of a dynamic team working towards a sustainable future for the Shire of Nannup.Enjoy a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.Contribute to meaningful projects that make a positive impact on the community and environment.Flexible working arrangement options available to support a range of lifestyles.Up to 16.5% employer superannuation contributions.Novated lease options available.Salary sacrificing.Training and development opportunities.How to Apply: Interested applicants can access the employment information and application package on the Shire's website, www.nannup.wa.gov.au, or by contacting the Shire at (08) 9756 1***.
