Located at our Burton facility in Adelaide (SA), this newly created position is a great and rare opportunity to join an iconic and highly successful transport and logistics business working as part of the wider workshop maintenance team. The successful applicant will be required to spend one week at the GTS Mildura Workshop for induction to be trained in our service processes and procedures.

The group has a fleet of 120 prime movers, over 500 trailers and 35,000 sqm of warehousing. GTS has a strong reputation in the transport industry due to its focus on customer service, safety and compliance.
A full-time position has now become available for an experienced Trailer Maintenance Repairer to repair and maintain equipment in Adelaide. To be effective in this role you must have excellent time management and organizational skills, and a background in trailer maintenance.
Key responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to: Perform routine servicing and general repairs consistent with company service guidelines and procedures.Ensuring that company trailing equipment is maintained, serviced and kept in a roadworthy state to ensure driver performance.Troubleshooting and replacing trailer systems and components.Wiring up electrical parts – lights, etc.Installing and servicing brakes and bearings.Installing hydraulic and air lines.General fit-up – includes mud flaps, guards, rims, etc.Keeping supplies ready by inventorying stock required to perform tasks.To be considered for this role you should have: Previous trailer maintenance experience.Strong attention to detail with exceptional service and communication skills, both verbal and written, along with computer skills.The ability to work in a team & multi-task in a fast-paced environment.An honest and efficient work ethic.Mechanical knowledge.Benefits: Monday to Friday working week.Competitive salary package.Sound like you?
