The Project The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The project scope is concentrated on a 10.5km motorway, including more than 4kms of twin three lane tunnels, road and bridge construction and complex M&E installations.

The role The Traffic Supervisor will provide the resource requirements relating to the traffic management field crews, including incident assistance, and the routine management of traffic control facilities and maintenance of Temporary Works.
The Traffic Supervisor will have at least 5 years' experience with workzone traffic control on arterial or major roads.
The Traffic Supervisor's responsibilities during construction are to: Report to the Traffic Manager and liaise with Traffic Engineers Be responsible for operational and traffic maintenance field resources and crews Implement and monitor WTMPs, including coordinating and supervising subcontractors deployed for WTMP implementation Manage Traffic Controllers at all work sites Undertake training appropriate to the duties described in Section 3 of the SA Standards for Workzone Traffic Management – Safety and Record Keeping Responsibilities Ensure traffic control facilities are maintained and monitored throughout the Works Work cooperatively with other incident response or Emergency Services when required Ensure all appropriate procedures are implemented during a planned traffic switch Be available to receive regular briefings on the implementation of the WTMP and toolbox talks Participate in the development of work procedures relating to traffic control deployment and the Incident Response Plan About you 5 plus years' experience with workzone traffic control on arterial or major roads (CSCR Requirement) Intimate understanding of the traffic resources required to facilitate both short term and long-term traffic management Current TMI & TC qualifications Ability to manage multi leading hands and work crews working in Proximity to Traffic ASHTAS training for install and removal of Safety Barrier System will be highly regarded.
