Our client is seeking candidates for numerous Traffic Services Support positions for an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of an extension in their Perth CBD office.
Rate: $40-50 per hour plus Super (depending on relevant experience)
Hours: Full-time – 38 hours per week
Location: Perth CBD
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in rate)
Start date: 20 Jan 2025 (may be earlier for the right candidate)
Title: Traffic Services Support Responsibilities:Provide traffic engineering support and advice to Main Roads, Local Government and other stakeholders including members of the public on traffic management and road safety matters.Investigate traffic issues and concerns and develop solutions for further consideration and assessment by a range of internal and external stakeholders.Assist in monitoring the efficiency and safety of the road network and investigate, review, and propose improvement measures.Undertake/assist in the project management of minor improvement projects (e.g., traffic signal modifications, signs, and line markings).Undertake/assist in data analysis, traffic modelling, and report writing.Required Skills, Knowledge, or ExperienceEssential:Experience or knowledge of Traffic Engineering principles & practices.Investigation, analysis, and problem-solving.Desirable:Engineering background and knowledge of Road Design & Road Safety.Data analysis and report writing experience.Pre-Employment Requirements:Possession of a current WA 'C' class driver's licence.Full working rights within Australia for the duration of the contract.Current National Police Clearance or able to obtain if successful.Willing to undergo a full medical and Drug and Alcohol screening before commencement of role.How to Apply:If you meet the above requirements and would like to be considered, APPLY NOW with your updated resume or email Jesse @ DFP Recruitment Perth via ****** for any queries.
