Parklife Metro JV is leading a transformative Metro project connecting St Marys to Bradfield, linking with the new Western Sydney Airport that is currently under construction. This joint venture with Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild aims to deliver 6 new stations, 12 metro trains, core rail systems, and a state-of-the-art stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills.

The Traffic Planner is responsible for the design, planning, and management of transportation systems to ensure efficient and safe traffic flow on roadways, highways, and other transportation networks.
Employed by Webuild, the role on offer is a full-time role based at our Western Sydney Project Office (WSPO) in Orchard Hills with the occasional travel to any of the sites along the alignment when required.
This is an ideal next step opportunity for someone who has a strong background in drawing up plans, drafting CTMPS & Swept Path Assessments.
Responsibilities:
Manage permit applications and requirements in a timely manner Develop Traffic Guidance Schemes and Construction Traffic Management Plans and Swept Path Assessments Develop/review Vehicle Management plans Coordination with site teams to assist in accurate planning Response to Stakeholder comments in report updates Coordination of Road Safety Audits, response to Road Safety Audits. Preparation of traffic section of BAN reports. Review documentation as required related to traffic engineering, road design, and transport management Coordinate with key stakeholders such as road authorities, local councils, police and public transport organizations Conduct risk assessments, hazard identifications and document control Criteria: Current SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training Card for the following types of Traffic Control work:
-Prepare a work zone traffic management plan (PWZTMP)
-Implement traffic control plans (IMP)
-Traffic Controller (TCR). White Card Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar role Previous experience delivering major projects, preferably in a top tier contractor or sub-contractor (preferrable) Experience developing swept path assessments What's next?
