Primary Location VIC - Dandenong Job Description Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Traffic Planner / Designer to join Service Stream in our Dandenong office About the Role Service Stream's Traffic division are currently seeking a Traffic Planner / Designer to join our growing company.
You will be responsible for the efficient and effective provision of Traffic Management Plans and advice: including, traffic management functions, expert advice on traffic planning and management and operations to wide range of Service Stream Activities Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time Location: Dandenong, VIC Reporting Line: Traffic Operations Manager Key Responsibilities Contract Performance Working with planning and delivery teams in projects and maintenance to draw, plan and prepare work zone traffic guidance schemes relevant to the project work activities and traffic control to appropriate standards, as well as; Ensuring that the approved traffic management measures are implemented and maintained in accordance with the approved plans; Carrying out regular inspections of the traffic control measures to ensure that they are effective; Creating, amending and updating traffic control plans, as required, to ensure that they remain current as the work progresses.

Understand our clients' needs and add value to their business.
Deliver on expectations as well as what we say we are to deliver.
Build an ongoing relationship with appropriate DOT & Councils Identify value adds for the client and proactive solutions.
Proactively provide timely responses to any queries or concerns Monthly catch up to review ongoing operations and reporting issues Proactively highlight great examples of work undertaken.
Work with discipline and rigour.
Work with energy and passion and encourage others to do the same.
Work with courage to lead change which supports the Project objectives.
About You To complete Prepare a Work Zone Traffic Management Plan certification that applicant must already hold one or more of the following; Current 'Apply Traffic Control Plans' photocard Current 'Implement Traffic Control Plans' photocard (full qualification) Current 'Select and Modify Traffic Control Plans' photocard Current 'Design and Inspect Traffic Control Plans' photocard Advanced Worksite Traffic Management accreditation (AWTM) Demonstrate a high level of AutoCAD experience VicRoads accredited Road Safety Auditor Expert in the use of RapidPlan High level written, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to relate to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to present accurate, concise, and timely reports on relevant matters The Traffic Planner must hold a current "Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan" qualification and have a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in traffic management on road construction sites of equivalent complexity to the current Contract.
