About the Role We are currently seeking casual Traffic Marshalls for our upcoming season.
The primary function of the Traffic Marshall is to manage the flow of traffic queueing to join the service while providing excellent customer service.
Duties Direct and Divert Traffic inline with company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with vessel crew and other traffic personnel to ensure safe movement of traffic.
Maintain communications with the site office and ferries to assist in a smooth operation.
Monitor and control access to ferry embarkation area.
Ensure all safety procedures are followed at the worksite.
Regularly inspect traffic control equipment for functionality.
Provide clear and concise communication to the public, drivers, and site personnel.
Preserve pedestrian and traffic routes as far as reasonably practicable in the surrounding areas, attempting to reduce impact on the local community.
