Join the Akron Group NT Pty Ltd team as a Traffic Management Designer Level 2 in our Berrimah, NT office.This is a full-time position supporting the largest traffic control company in the NT, servicing a number of high profile government, local council and private clients territory wide.What you'll be doingDevelop and implement comprehensive traffic management plans for construction sites and projectsLiaise with relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits for traffic management plansConduct site inspections and monitor the implementation of traffic management measuresAttend sites, identify safety issues and assess the situation to make changes instantly, if requiredProvide technical advice and guidance to project teams on traffic management best practicesCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective coordination of traffic management activitiesStay up-to-date with relevant legislation, regulations and industry standardsWhat we're looking forMinimum 3 years of experience as a Traffic Management Designer Level 2 or WZ1Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive traffic management plansStrong understanding of relevant traffic management regulations, standards and best practicesProficient in using traffic management design software Rapid Plan and toolsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProblem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a teamRole includes after hours and on call responsibility that are shared with the teamWhat we offerCompetitive salary of $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 plus superOpportunities for professional development and career advancementSupportive and collaborative work environmentAccess to the latest industry tools and technologiesCompany vehicle, fuel card, phone and laptop providedRelocation package of up to $10,000 for the right candidateAbout usAkron Group NT Pty Ltd is a leading construction and infrastructure company with a strong presence in the Northern Territory.
