Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with 30 years' industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities!
About the role We are looking for experienced Traffic Controllers to join our team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic across a variety of infrastructure projects in Western Sydney.
As a Traffic Controller at Abergeldie, you will:
Safely control the movement of vehicles and pedestrians, prioritising the safety of workers and the public at our project sites.Monitor traffic flow and make real-time adjustments to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.Identify and promptly report potential hazards or safety concerns to site supervisors.Maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with clients, team members, and the public.What You'll Bring to the Team Minimum 12 month experience as a Traffic Controller, with the ability to direct traffic in various conditions.Current Traffic Control Ticket (TCR).CurrentRIISS00055 Traffic Management Implementer ticket.Valid construction safety card (White Card).Current driver's license.Strong work ethic and a focus on safety.Flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts as required.PWZTMP Prepare work zone traffic management plan ticketdesirable but not essential.Why Work With Us Our people are what make Abergeldie successful, and we make sure that this is the kind of place where great people enjoy working for the long term.
