Tradewind are working closely with a co-educational Catholic School near Marsden Park who are looking for a pedagogy coach with a focus on practical subjects such as TAS, Science, PDHPE and Creative and Performing Arts.
This position attracts a 3-point paid allowance with a mix of coaching, teaching and release.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Mentorship: Collaborate with teachers to design flexible curriculums and contemporary pedagogies.
Build teacher capacity through co-planning, co-teaching, and reflective practices.
Enhancing Learning Outcomes: Promote student-centered, authentic learning experiences.
Use data to support differentiated teaching and improve outcomes.
Align teaching strategies with the School Vision.
Professional Expertise: Model innovative, evidence-based teaching practices.
Foster creativity, collaboration, and innovation in teaching teams.
Support the integration of digital tools to enhance learning.
Compliance and Culture: Ensure NESA compliance.
Build respectful, mission-aligned relationships with colleagues, students, and families.
Requirements:
Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
Ability to use research and data for strategic planning.
Expertise in contemporary pedagogy, flexible curriculum design, and digital integration.
Commitment to professional learning and contributing to a culture of innovation.
Prerequisites:
Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete) Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes) Have unrestricted working rights in Australia Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references Statements of service The School:
