The Opportunity: Reporting into the Production manager, you will be required to assist with the upkeep and fabrication of Humes assets, which includes the following duties:
Repair and fabricate plant & equipment such as fabricating precast mouldsMould setup for production of Precast productsEnsuring that moulds (Hume's assets) are repaired and maintained in accordance with the drawings presented by the Production team.Observe Critical Quality standards and drive the effective repair and maintenance of plant & equipment to ensure reliability of production and care of assetsAbout You: Trade Qualification in WeldingDemonstrated knowledge and experience in automated mechanical systems and handling equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic controlPrevious experience in the construction industry would be highly regardedA proactive approach to safety, hazards and Risk ManagementAbility to work in a close team environmentWhy Holcim: Our strength is our people - their expertise and skills, their ability to find innovative solutions and their commitment to high performance.
