Established in 2001, Guidera O'Connor (GO) is a privately owned and respected design and construct contractor with a successful track record delivering water and wastewater treatment projects to the Australian Water Industry. Our clients include SA Water, Water Corporation, Sydney Water, and SEQ Water.
We are recruiting for a General Labourer and Mechanical Trade Staff with a background in Water and Wastewater Infrastructure. These roles are casual full-time roles with the potential to move to full-time permanent for the right person. They are based on various projects around Sydney, particularly Sydney Science Park, and could include Newcastle.
Our Trade staff are responsible for undertaking construction work on site and ensuring the work is completed safely, timely, and meets environmental, community, quality, and cost requirements. They also prepare or assist the Site Supervisor in the implementation of Safe Work Method Statements for the work to be undertaken.
As our ideal candidate, you will: Value our Guiding Principles of Health & Safety, Integrity, Trustworthiness, Excellence, and Respect.Have a Cert 3 or higher Trades Ticket (not mandatory for the General Labourer).Have a C Class Drivers Licence.Have the following tickets: Working at Heights, EWP Yellow Card, EWP over 11m High Risk Licence, and a White Card.Have experience in formwork, concrete cutting, core drilling, entry-level carpentry.Have solid experience working on major infrastructure projects, Water Industry preferred but not necessary.Be familiar with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards relating to the construction industry.What's in it for you?
