Nestlé Campbellfield, the home of KitKat, Smarties, Aero, Milky Bar and more, has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking Maintenance Fitter to join our Afternoon Shift Maintenance team.
Your role will primarily focus on production process support through maintenance, continuous improvement and engineering activities.
You will be responsible for, and have the ability to deliver in the following areas: Managing repairs, servicing and maintenance of site process equipment including vertical form and fill machines, high speed horizontal wrapping machines, robot case packing equipment, chocolate moulding lines and conveyors Supporting improvement projects that aim to reduce unplanned stoppages Coaching operators to improve their process knowledge and skills Display strong customer service and relationship building skills Reviewing, creating and modifying preventative maintenance plans for optimum reliability Maintain and improve OH&S and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards in the workplace To be successful in the role you will have: Cert III in Engineering Mechanical Fitter Trade qualification Cert IV in Engineering Fluid Power is desirable Display strong attention to detail Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings Computer literacy and proficiency with SAP or a similar maintenance management program Excellent troubleshooting & problem-solving skills Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure Strong verbal and written communication skills Proactive cooperation and a demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment A willingness and ability to learn new processes The initiative and courage to speak out when correction is required An ability to work permanent Afternoon Shift working hours (02.30pm - 11.00pm) At least two years' experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment is desirable We offer a 36 hour week, 9 days a fortnight working hours.
You may be required to work overtime during the week and on weekends.
We have canteen facilities onsite and supply tools and uniforms.
