These opportunities will be 12 month fixed term opportunities, come join a safety focused team and gain world class industry knowledge. In this role you will: Comply to and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day Provide trade assistance skills to support planned, unplanned or breakdown maintenance Develop close working relationships with maintenance and other personnel to ensure that all maintenance activities are rectified immediately and escalated where required Provide continual feedback to the Shift Maintenance Supervisors on job progress Execute activities according to the weekly work schedule and unscheduled work as required Update events and work requests with an accurate scope of work, to support effective planning of work Provide feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor on improvement opportunities Build cross-functional relationships with the range of Operational areas to support maintenance Comply with the 1 SAP Work Management processes related to work identification, execution and the capturing of related historical transactional data into 1 SAP Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of action items affecting equipment reliability About you Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm's way Previous experience working in a similar Trades Assistant role within the mining industry Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform tickets are advantageous Demonstrated prior experience working with heavy plant and equipment or transferrable examples Forklift and dogging tickets preferred – but not essential Ability to communicate across multiple levels and disciplines Current, valid driver's licence About Our Process At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
