An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and highly motivated individual to join the REX Engineering team as a full-time Trades Assistant, located in Wagga Wagga, NSW.Reporting:This position reports to the Base Maintenance Supervisor.Position Responsibilities:Perform facility, tooling and asset maintenance & cleaning as required.Assist Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in aircraft and component maintenance and refurbishment as required.Ensuring all work performed by them is to the highest standard and in accordance with the appropriate approved data.For aircraft in maintenance and operations, carry out exterior and interior cleaning as required.Assorted workplace housekeeping and ad-hoc duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.Key Selection Criteria:Proven self-starter with flexible attitudeDemonstrated hand skills or trade experienceDemonstrated ability to work unsupervisedAbility to follow instructions and work in a team environment.Have a high level of attention to detailAbility to work a four day week & occasional overtimeWorking knowledge of OH&S procedures.A valid driver's licence.Meet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card.Conditions:Wage rates and conditions apply as per the Regional Express Aircraft Engineers Agreement.To Apply:Please submit your application with a copy of your CV and cover letter addressing the above criteria by close of business Friday, 7 June 2024.#J-18808-Ljbffr
