About the role:We are looking for a Trade Assistant / Labourer to join Humes, in the engineering workshop based in Pooraka South Australia.
This is a permanent full-time role.
Duties will include, but not limited to: Grit blasting of componentsSafe operation of UHP water blast unitSpray painting of various componentsAssist with loading transport including pre and post departure paperworkForklift operation, including loading and unloading of moulds, stock and spare partsOperation of machineryCleaning and housekeepingOrder pickingBasic weldingOxy & acetylene cuttingAbout you: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health and environmentPrevious experience working in a similar roleStrong written and verbal communicationBasic computer skillsHold a valid driver's licence and LF ticketHigh attention to detailBe able to pass a Police check, as well as a full medical including drug and alcohol screeningAdditionally, you must hold valid Australian work rights with no restriction on hours or duration of employment.
