Trades Assistant

Our client is Australia's Leading Rebar and Steel Bending Equipment provider, they are Australian owned and run, established in 2005. They provide machinery installation, servicing and maintenance along with spare parts distribution.

Located in Campbellfield, this is a great opportunity to develop your mechanical aptitude and grow within the company.

Joining the refurbishment team, your primary role will be to assist in the maintenance and refurbishment of Rebar and Steel bending equipment for local and international customers.

This role will involve getting your hands dirty checking oil levels and greasing components, it will also require the use of hand and power tools such as grinders and welders. Although a trade certificate is not essential, a high mechanical aptitude is expected.

This position is offered on a full time, temporary basis for the first three months with the opportunity of a permanent position. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

The successful candidate has the opportunity to develop into a Field Service Technician as the business continues to grow.

The successful person will be able to follow established process and procedures and be able to write small reports in a clear and concise manner. This position will suit someone who is physically fit and willing to travel if/when required to Customer sites with Field technicians. Must be reliable with impeccable personal presentation as you will be attending customer sites.
