Trades Assistant

Our client supplies compressed and bulk gases, chemicals and equipment around the globe. The company develops safe, sustainable and innovative solutions for customers in many speciality sectors, heavy industry and medical.As well as atmospheric gases, we supply thousands of different types of gas, and gas mixtures to customers across the South Pacific in an enormous range of industries.What this job means for you:Ongoing Monday to Friday - 8.00am - 4.30pm with some overtime.Opportunity for a permanent role.Full training required.$54.38/hour plus Superannuation and penalty rates for Overtime, Weekends and Public Holidays.Work in a Safety conscious team environment with a well-known, reliable company.Duties include but are not restricted to:Loading & unloading trucks using Forklift.Sorting empty cylinders and picking orders.Using scanners for dispatch and checks.Filling Industrial Gasses and LPG.Be inclusive in Daily Toolbox meetings.Training as required to become Trades Assistant.All other jobs assigned.Skills, Qualifications & Experience required for this role:Fork Lift Licence with experience loading and unloading trucks.Hand and power tool experience desirable.Be proactive, enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills.Strong communication skills.Physically fit, must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen.Work well as part of a team.Must be able to pass a National Police Clearance.STUDENT & HOLIDAY VISA HOLDERS NEED NOT APPLY.
