Position: General Services Trade Assistant The General Services Trade Assistant is responsible for assisting the maintenance team with the repairs and maintenance of all assets and equipment associated with camps, site offices, cribs, ablutions, and common area facilities:
Attention to DetailGeneral Site Maintenance across all assets and equipmentHandyman duties - replacing locks, door handles, washers, and general camp maintenanceProblem solving and finding solutions for asset and equipment failuresDuties & Responsibilities A problem solver who is able to understand and investigate faults and concerns and devise a plan for how to proceed.
Qualifications Experience & Skills Requirement At least two (2) years in a similar roleReliable and dependable attendance in a remote settingAccustomed to living in dormitory style/remote camp settingsTickets - working at heights, confined space (preferable)Previous exposure to domestic/commercial and catering equipment maintenance, repairs, and installation workIdentify and troubleshoot breakdown faults and hazardsExperience in computer-based maintenance systems (preferable)Current First Aid and CPR (preferable)Current Driver's licenseAbility to pass a medical and drug & alcohol test #J-18808-Ljbffr
