Job DescriptionThe role of Trade Assistant involves supporting Maintenance Technicians in performing preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment within the Processing Plant and site infrastructure, ensuring that plant equipment remains highly available.
This role is offered on a 2/2 roster - FIFO from Perth.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Fixed Plant Maintenance Technicians with routine and breakdown maintenance activities.Carry out non-Slewing crane operations for Maintenance and associated departments as required.Conduct visual inspections and report any issues or defects.Learn and carry out basic Maintenance activities including cleaning and lubrication.General housekeeping of workshop areas.Always act in a manner that seeks to enhance the safety culture and performance of Vault Minerals and ensures that the Vital Behaviours are adhered to at all times.Key Factors to Your SuccessMinimum 3 years' experience in a Trade Assistant role, preferably in the mining industry.Minimum 2 years Cn crane operation experience.Current WA "C" Class Driver's License.Valid CN Crane Ticket - essential.Forklift Ticket - essential.Poly welding, Scaffolding, HR Licence - desirable.With an exciting future ahead, Vault Minerals is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a rewarding career in the mining industry.
