Join our team in Gladstone, as a Trade Counter and Warehouse person. Whether experienced in industrial and construction products or not, we require a person who has a passion for selling and providing sales and warehouse support, who is open, diligent and upbeat, to deliver great and passionate service.
The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role which will include the following duties: Servicing inquiries from customers and prospects via the trade counter, phone or emailBuild and develop customer relationships through strong customer service and a willingness to always exceed expectationsProvide product support with the ability to solve basic issues faced by customers and advising customers on product solutionsPick, pack and despatch ordersLoading and unloading goodsLiaise with couriers regarding orders and deliveriesOperating a forklift (Forklift licence required)Action stock and order discrepancies, including non-located stockProcess customer & supplier credits in a timely mannerUse internal systems to receive, despatch and complete ordersMaintain clean & efficient work areasWho we're seeking: Self-motivated and work well unsupervisedHigh level of enthusiasm, strong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and prioritiesExperience within fasteners, hardware or industrial supplies environmentAbility to work in a team environmentKnowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsWhat United Fasteners is offering the successful Candidate: We are offering a competitive salary package with the potential advancement within the Company for the right individual.
