An exciting opportunity for a Trade Repair Officer to join our fun, collaborative, and hardworking Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Palmer Barracks, WA .

About the Role As a Trade Repair Officer, your duties will include but are not limited to: • Assisting the Schedulers with maintenance work implementation, performance, service, and quality assurance • Coordinate maintenance tasks to ensure action plans and objectives are achieved within timeframes • Create and manage job packets to obtain quotes for work to be completed with external subcontractors • Verifying subcontractor invoices for billing to be completed • Identify any missing/required parts, place orders through appropriate channels, receipt the parts and maintain stock levels in the stores as required About You • Trade Certificate from a Mechanical / Workshop background (Mechanic, Electronics, Fitter) • WA Driver's Licence – HR is preferred • Forklift Licence – Highly regarded • Previous experience within a stores or maintenance environment • Open and clear communication within a team environment • You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance About Ventia Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
