The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced andhighly motivated Trade Data Analyst to join DTI's TradePolicy & Analysis team. Working closely with the Senior TradePolicy Adviser, and Manager, you'll use your trade and dataanalysis skills to help deliver timely, accurate policy advice tokey decision makers. Your work will support a range of activitiesand initiatives across the Trade Directorate that seek to maximiseSouth Australia's engagement with key overseas markets,helping grow and diversify our state's export economy.
About You:
To be successful in this position, you must be able todemonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:
Experience in data analysis and data visualisation.Proficiency in a range of software applications, especiallyMicrosoft Office applications and records managementsystems.Good communication skills, including the ability to liaiseeffectively both verbally and in writing with a range ofinternal and external stakeholders.Able to exercise initiative while working under generaldirection and manage time effectively.Ability to use tact and discretion in identifying andmanaging sensitive information.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment,using initiative to support the team, proactively applyingrelevant procedures to the work environment.Ability to continually seek to expand your knowledge andapply new learning as required by the role.Ability to undertake research and support data analysis andthe delivery of projects that align to organisationaloutcomes.Experience in utilising software to manipulate and analysedata, and to present data in manner that is user-friendly andthat supports business operations.Desirable Qualification:
Tertiary qualifications across a range of relevantdisciplines, including but not limited to data engineering,commerce, economics, and accounting.
Candidates in the final year of university are encouraged toapply.
Special Conditions

Remuneration:
ASO3 – $66,590 min – $70,968 max
