The Position Title: Qualified Chef/Trade Cook
Department: Corporate Services

Excellent working hours, no split shifts or late nights!Rotate through all sections within the kitchenApplications are sought from suitably qualified Chefs with previous commercial cooking experience to work in the Food Services Department at Echuca Regional Health.
Key responsibilities include: Preparing all menu items according to recipe providedSupervise the plating of meals to ensure visual appealMaintain all records associated with the Food Safety ProgramProvide recipe ideas and suggestions for improvementOur team requires someone who has: Trade CertificateProven experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchenHigh-level awareness of safety and privacyDemonstrated knowledge of the Food Standards Code including Allergen Management / ControlExcellent communication skillsThe ability to prioritise workloadsThis position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check and (where relevant) provision of a Working With Children Check and check on the Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme prior to appointment. In addition, this position requires evidence of vaccination status for COVID-19.
