Location: RAAF Base Edinburgh Category: Business Support Position Type: Permanent Job Reference: BOE/1822960 No File Attached Share This: The opportunity Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) provides Sustainment Support for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) fleet of P-8A Poseidon aircraft.
The Program has an integrated Commonwealth and contractor workforce, led by Boeing Defence Australia, and is currently seeking applications for the role of Trade Control Integrator.
This role is integral to our P-8A Program.
You will learn our Program's trade control requirements, and work closely with various internal stakeholders as our interface to the Global Trade Control (GTC) function on matters relating to the operational aspects of the Program's trade control requirements.
Responsibilities Operational day-to-day execution and administration of the Program's trade control tasks.
Act as the Integrated Control Plan (ICP) -Owner, administering trade control compliance requirements under relevant Australian and US export authorisations.
Management of trade control authorities once approved, including ongoing engagement to ensure they stay aligned to contracted statements of work.
Management and support around the logistical movement of goods and technology and compliance with approved trade control authorities.
In partnership with GTC, support training objectives for on-going education and awareness around trade controls.
In partnership with GTC, plan and conduct trade control compliance assessments and objective testing for the Program.
Identify opportunities and implement best practices to increase the Programs overall awareness of trade compliance requirements.
Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience/Qualifications Knowledge of, or exposure to, trade control practices.
Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to engage, influence and negotiate with a range of stakeholders.
Process orientated with attention to detail.
Eligibility Applicants must be Australian Citizens and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain, an NV1 Security Clearance.
