About the role As we enter a period of significant growth, we are seeking an experienced compliance specialist to join L3Harris as a Trade Compliance Specialist.
Working within a business-critical team, you will ensure L3Harris's adherence to legislative requirements and policies concerning the import, export, transfer and movement of sensitive technology and data.
Reporting to the Trade Compliance Manager, your remit will be as broad as it is challenging.
Day-to-day, your activities may include but not be limited to: managing AU to US Defence Trade Cooperation obligations, preparing & submitting export license applications, providing expert advice on import/export control issues and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and legislation.
About you To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, you will be degree qualified, have legal or compliance experience, and be practiced in highly regulated and complex environments.
Competency in interpreting legislation and then providing advice to operational and project teams will be critical.
You will have demonstrated stakeholder engagement & management skills, as well as an innate ability to prioritise company needs and influence others to achieve those outcomes.
Detail-oriented, resilient, and self-starting individuals are best suited to the performance profile of this team.
