Trade Cert - Mechanical Fitter/Boilermaker - Planning SchedulerReporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the primary focus of the Planning Support Officer is to provide support to the Maintenance Planning Department.The objectives/duties for this role include and are not limited to:Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of detailed Maintenance plans for the Mechanical, Electrical, and Bing Bong departments.Be the secondary contact and liaison between Maintenance, Operations, and other supported departments.Plan/Schedule work initiated through various stakeholders, ensuring that the required support for resources is available.Communicate with requests of work orders for clarity of work to be performed.Assist relevant Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors with detailed scoping of work requests, ordering, and confirming of parts required for maintenance requests.Responsibilities:Responsible for undertaking activities including scoping and delivery of critical spares for routine and non-routine maintenance activities.Support the planners with the creation/approval of work orders where required.Attend and facilitate daily work order meetings with key stakeholders.Attend weekly planning meetings with the maintenance planners.Assist the planners with work management/tracking of work orders to completion and coordination of backlog work.Support and assist the Maintenance Shutdown Planner when required.Assist the Maintenance Planners to update/create APLs and MSTs.As a valued member of the Maintenance Department, you are accountable for delivering continuous support to the Maintenance Planners.Knowledge:3+ years Fixed Plant experience.Planning/scheduling experience for fixed plant & maintenance work.Demonstrated ability to effectively complete document control activities.Demonstrated understanding of mineral processing systems, processes, and their interrelationships (including maintenance systems, e.g., Ellipse).Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels.Roster:FIFO from Darwin to site (flights included).
