Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and reliable Trade Assistants to join our growing team at Griffin Marine Services Pty Ltd. As a Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to our skilled tradespeople in the Marine industry. This is a full-time position based in Portsmith CAIRNS, offering competitive rates and ongoing opportunities for development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist tradespeople with various tasks such as maintenance, repairs, and installations
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with PPE requirements in an industrial environment
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals
- Utilize hand and power tools under the supervision of experienced professionals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Adhere to project schedules and meet deadlines
- Attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Skills:
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work 40+ hours per week
- Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE usage in an industrial setting
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment
- Previous experience using hand tools or power tools preferred but not required
- Possess an OHS Construction Induction (White Card)
Qualifications:
