We are recognised as an industry leader across the mining, construction, manufacturing, agriculture and defence industries.About the RoleDue to our rapid growth we have a requirement for a Trade Assistant, based in our Mackay branch who are willing to partake in field and workshop-based work. With an experienced team in place, we are able to offer the training required to develop into the role.This is an integral role to the business. Day-to-day in the role, you will:Assist experienced tradesmen with fabrication and fitting out of specialised components;Complete all administration of job records accurately and efficiently;Ensure that work is carried out to the highest quality level;Ensure that customer service levels are of the highest standard;Ensure continuous improvement to service levels and look for better ways to do things.About youTo succeed in these roles, you will have a disciplined and mature work ethic, as well as the ability to work unsupervised. A mechanical aptitude will also be highly regarded, as would prior painting experience, although this is not essential.
