We are currently seeking Trades Assistants for long term opportunities and are involved with the manufacturing & assembly of the new C-series railcars. We have multiple vacancies within our Production team all based at our manufacturing facility at Bellevue to support PTA Australia's $1.6 billion, 20 year Railcar Maintenance Program.

No formal qualifications are required to apply, however some experience or exposure to this work will be required and you must have unrestricted working rights for a minimum of 2 years. 
Key Responsibilities:  Assisting with either the electrical manufacturing of electrical wiring harnesses or the mechanical activities relating to the assembly of the train Installing and assembling railway vehicle components using standard work procedures, hand & power tools Reading, interpreting and following plans, instructions, specifications and reports with a high attention to details and safety Performing all necessary inspections  Managing time well with the ability to prioritise task Contributing to quality, safety and delivery processes  Working equally well autonomously and as part of a team Following and role modelling safe work practices and an equitable and respectful working environment Competitive rates for Perth based positions 40 hour per week 7:00am to 3:30pm Permanent positions, with progression opportunities Long term security with a global market leader Free Gym Memberships Income Protection from commencement Free secure parking, great coffee machines, BBq's All PPE and Tooling provided Well-appointed new facility at Bellevue 18 weeks parental leave for primary carers & 2 weeks for secondary carers.
