About the Role As a Trade Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance of our bus fleet. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting trade staff with minor repairs to keep buses road-ready.Conducting kilometre-based inspections (tyres, lights, fluids, body damage).Maintaining a clean and efficient workshop environment.Delivering and retrieving parts from suppliers and depots.Using a forklift and conducting road tests.Potential for overtime as a bus operator if you hold a Driver Authority.What We're Looking For: Familiarity with workshop best practices and standard concepts.Strong communication and time management skills.A valid driver's licence (MR or higher preferred) and willingness to obtain a HR licence.A mechanical background (desirable but not essential).Physical fitness to manage workshop duties.A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to professionalism.What's in it for You?
