We are seeking a reliable Trades Assistant/Factory Hand to support our manufacturing team.
This is a casual or permanent full-time position (up to 38 hours per week), offering the opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced and hands-on environment.
Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in a factory or workshop environment is advantageousComfortable using hand tools and power toolsAbility to handle heavy materials such as rolls of vinyl and canvasStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsTeam-oriented with good communication skillsCapable of working in a fast-paced environmentPrior experience in factory/warehouse duties is a plusKey Responsibilities Assisting tradesmen with the fabrication and assembly of products such as shade sails, awnings, blinds, and tonneau coversCutting and preparing materials for productionUsing hand tools, power tools, and other factory equipmentMaintaining a clean and organized workshop, including performing general housekeeping dutiesAssisting with stock management and inventory tasksOperating eyeleting machines and press stud toolsSupporting the team with various manual tasks as neededDocumenting job details using an Android deviceWhy Join Us?At Pickers Vinyl & Canvas, you will work in a collaborative environment where your contributions are valued.
